About Our Business
Palumbo Block Co., Inc. and it's parent company Palumbo Sand & Gravel Co., Inc. are
located in the small community of Dover Plains that is situated in the picturesque Hudson
River Valley Region, just north of New York City.

The sand and gravel operations are highly mechanized and were established in 1968 on a
150 acre site, just a short haul from the block plant. The block manufacturing activities are
semi-automated and were established in 1989 inside a 30,000 square foot building. The
plant produces all types of Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) used in the building industry today.
Palumbo can customize for high strength PSI block as well as the Mesa Retaining Wall
System which is a superior product when using Segmental Block Retaining Wall systems.

Palumbo not only manufactures these blocks but supplies all other products and
accessories for masonry and landscape construction. Palumbo is also a distributor for many
major brick manufacturers, as well as other masonry products such as mortar, anchor ties
and flashing.

Orders are shipped throughout the Northeast Region of the country. Our main market
encompasses the New York counties of Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, Orange,
Ulster, Sullivan and Columbia, as well as the northern parts of New York City and portions of
the western Connecticut counties of Fairfield and Litchfield.
